Dial Plan
PhoneNet operates a common dial plan across all of its interconnected PBXs (Private Branch Exchanges).
This page describes the dial plan that is in place.
Base Numbering Plan
PhoneNet uses a mix of 4 and 5 digit extensions. The base numbering plan and their peering ranges are as follows:

PBX Extension Ranges
Extensions within the base numbering plan are further divided into blocks for various PBXs within PhoneNet. Some individual numbers are hosted on different systems for legacy reasons and those are noted in this list.

Prefixes and Shortcodes
In addition to the main numbering plan there are a number of different prefixes that can be used to dial out of PhoneNet.
Info
Avaya Aura, Avaya IP Office, and NEC SV9100 do not require an outside line prefix to dial Australian numbers. The full national number (FNN) including area code must however be dialed.
